Accounting in the rain

This lovely Thursday is characterized by the constant raining and the feeling I have inside which tells me that the spring is approaching rapidly.
I began my accounting studies this Monday and I've been positively surprised. It's a lot of reading but it's so logical at the same time.

I have approximately 9 weeks left on this course and then I've taken one large step towards the light in the end of the tunnel. I can't believe how time is flying. One year ago I began my voluntary work for PFDC as a moderator on the boards. One month ago I turned 20. As the days are becoming longer, and as the snow slowly melts away (hopefully to not return in the near future) I can sense the spring around the corner.

Last week we performed our last shows (as it seems now, I hope I'm wrong) at Oktoberteatern in Södertälje. I'm going to miss all that, but life goes on. I'm still enjoying my studies and I've found some new friends over here. Ever since I moved into my own apartment I've been feeling better and better. But even though life moves on and new challenges arise, I will still miss this place and the euphoria it is filled with.

Saddam is dead.... right?

I was watching this and laughing my ass off at this dude to the right on the screen. His whole family was executed by Saddam Hussein, yet he's sucking up for the late moron on Al Jazeera. Watch and enjoy ;).

God bless McDonald's....... NOT

I just got home from my last lesson this semester. It feels so fucking good knowing that I don't need to prepare anything specific for tomorrow. I still need to do a lot of work though, so I'm not completely free from it.

On the way home I got a burger at McDonald's. I need to get my ass down to the office in about 30 minutes. I really needed something to eat first, and (unfortunately) McDonald's was the only solution to that problem.
Tonight I'm going to some friends to say goodbye. They're leaving town for a while. I should buy them something nice....

Fast forwarding seasons 1-6

I just got home from work and I'm hungry. I love cooking, but it can get really hurtful when you're starving ^^.

I sat up till 2:30 in the morning "last night", watching through the 6 seasons of The Sopranos (instead of studying). I had no motivation, so I took a night off. Now I'm feeling so fucking bad about it because I know I won't be able to finish my paper which is due tomorrow. But what the hell, it's not the end of the world.

Over and out (for now).

Employed

Finally. Today I signed the papers, and I'll start tomorrow morning. Unfortunately I am not allowed to mention any names or anything specific about my assignment publicly on this blog. All I can say is that it seems interesting and inspiring to start with something new again. I needed this.

Thanks for your attention.

Midnight phonecalls

I read in the papers today that Ferenc Puskas passed away. A bright shining star on the football sky, a trivial form of raw talent under the colors of Hungary's flag. Rest in peace.

It's Friday again. This has been a tough week, and the next one will be even tougher. I've got a deadline till next Friday on a report. On top of that I'll have my first 6 hour exam after another week. Am I stressed? Yeah, I suppose.

Elin wants me to come to her place tonight and then follow her out to the club. I'm thinking about declining (for the 3rd time in one month's time). It feels bad to turn so many invitations down but I seriously need the time. The fucked up part is that I couldn't say no when she asked me last night...

A personal message to Nipor, Gabriel and Mike:
Thanks for waking me up like Gestapo. I just love it when you by intuition pick up the phone and call me in the middle of the night, playing "imse vimse spindel" loudly. I mean fuck (!) a good night's sleep! Right?
Jesus...

Interview

A sweet voice called me yesterday afternoon, asking me about my previous work in different organizations. She was calling from a consulting bureau. Next thing I'm told to show up for an interview the next morning. So I went.

They're interested in recruiting me and I guess I'm interested in earning a little extra. Will I get the job? I hope so. I really do.

Last show

It's Monday morning, mid November. Can it be worse?

Tonight we'll do our last show and I'm aiming to do my best performance ever. It's going to be empty now that we'll have a little winterbreak, but other things will come in to the focal point.

I'll write a summary of this period later, hopefully with photos.
See ya'll out there tonight!

The day after

It feels better today, I'm over it, sooner than I thought. To be able to understand the greatness of AIK, you must see this! It's right before kickoff, and 31000 supporters are singing the anthem of AIK. Next year we'll win the fucking thing!

Today I've been home reading and catching up on shit I've neglected lately. Macroeconomics all day long.
